Bristol First is the council’s directory of Construction and Regeneration in the city. The editorial sections give information about current and future projects together with issues involving the sector and a list of useful contacts. Included with the guide is a CD ROM with details of Bristol based companies from the sector who can offer all the resources needed for a construction project large or small.
It is a quality, A4, glossy, publication intended to help inward investors access local resources and to encourage local business to business links. Bristol First is equally useful as a source of services to anyone.
The book, which is also available in online format at http://www.bristolfirst.co.uk , will be republished in print early in February and we are currently accepting requests from local companies for a free listing in the directory section. Companies contacting email@example.com in the next two weeks can be added to the CD and after that to the online version only.
The main theme of the new edition is #TempleQuarterEnterpriseZone
In addition, every two years, the council publishes the #BristolBusinessGuide which contains details about Bristol as a place to do business, work and live. The 2011/12 edition was launched in November 2011.
The guide also contains details of thousands of Bristol companies to provide a source of information for anyone seeking a range services or products. Copies are available free of charge either from a city Library or Customer Service Point. This service is also intended to support local companies and to keep business in the city.
There is also an online version of the directory, including the companies listing, online at http://www.bristolbusinessguide.co.uk and again Bristol based companies can be added free via firstname.lastname@example.org
Companies joining the Bristol Business Guide community will also be kept up to date, by email, about:
