Dementia Care Home Partnership – Fit for the Future, Fit for All

Dementia Care Home Partnership: Fit for the Future, Fit for All

The delivery of quality services for people with dementia in Bristol is a key priority for Bristol City Council. To provide this service, the Council is looking to enter into a long-term strategic partnership with a provider organisation(s) to build and run three brand new state-of-the-art dementia care homes.

This event will focus on the development of two of the new care homes, one situated in the South of the City, and the other in the North. It is aimed at any provider interested in working in partnership with the Council to provide high-quality dementia care in line with Bristol’s Joint Dementia Commissioning Strategy.

During the afternoon, the Council will:

• Outline the vision for the future service(s)

• Highlight the priorities for the care provision and design of the buildings

• Detail features of the proposed sites for 2 of the new care homes

• Outline the upcoming procurement exercise

The event will also include an address from the Mayor, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and to engage in informal discussions before and after the event.

If you are interested in attending, please ensure that you register in advance – bookings will be limited to 2 places per provider.
